I am a huge fan of this game, so here is some art in WIldstar style Im working on.
Not done yet, and the spec on it isnt finished either. But heres the level 60 ammo bag from Blizzards Artcraft post.
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/14176224/artcraft-concept-class-accessories-5-20-2014 So I've been trying out a different workflow, one a friend of mine uses. This means I had to sculpt in zBrush (sort of a first) and using Topogun (definitely a first). Also not used to having ambient and normals and the like before I've even started painting.
Makin me the castle portion of the play screen. I dont think the canon matches it quite right and will need to make another pass on the diffuse.
So I was randomly looking at the previous canon picture and realised that part of the reason it doesnt look right is because the normals are inverted which is creating all kinds of havoc with my painted in lighting / ao. Here it is fixed, I think.
I finally got around to starting work on this desk, which I'd been meaning to do for quite some time. But I seem to have hit some sort of mental block . That and I found an artist online whos work I absolutely fell in love with and I have this intense urge to make something based off their work. So I guess this guy is on hold for probably a while as the project Im about to throw myself into is a lengthy one.
